New Year's eve

My last post for the year......

2008 bring both good and bad memories..Working in Baiduri Bank, getting to know new friends, UBD, most importantly meeting someone special..you know who you are..hahahahaha..

New year resolutions?Hmm..Getting good grades, celebrating CNY with my close friends and families, hanging out with my friends like we always do..Maybe some new stuff that I ought to try..HEHEHE

Gonna countdown the new year with Nick at Orchid Garden..Our theme?Classic and chic?HHAHAHAHAHAH..JK..Normal casual wear will do..:)

Happy new Year 2009 guys!!Hope we will have a blast..YEEHAAHHHHH

My KL trip

The first 2 days were fantastic! My bro..Haha..Nigel...and I went shopping..for 5 hours at Mid Valley..Its from 11.30am-4.30pm..Non stop..Continuous walking, shopping, eating..Shopping..LALALALA..Bargains!!I like!!!2 shirts for RM 49 at Samuel and Kevin..So many nice shirts at Romp..Spent around RM 80..Went to F.O.S..Spent RM53 on a shirt and socks..3 pairs for RM23..Not bad..:D..So we headed over to Giordano..25% off if you get a 2nd piece..Heck..Nike-30% off the tag..I like..Spent RM48 on a shirt..Next off to Iora..OMG..this time was a nightmare..RM300 just drained off my purse..*cough*cough*..

Went to KLCC on the 2nd day..Surprisingly we could walk around in a matter of 3 hours..Bought Giordano Shirts and jeans..Buy 1 free 1..NICE!!RM 200 vanished..E-Sprit..Buy 1 at the normal price and get the 2nd piece for half the price..One thing good about E-sprit is that the quality of the shirts are thumbs up!:D:D..RM 99..Bye bye..

3rd day (can't really remember)..I think it's shopping near Damansara..Bad memory

Xmas day..We sang Xmas carol at church..(Yeah..NOT!)..Not too bad..Had chicken rice for dinner though..HAHAHHAHA..Didnt do much shopping..Oh and yes..I bought twilight books series..Cost me RM140 ish..I like the book compared to the movie..No idea why..It's worth it!!:D..Supposed to meet Maureen up...Instead..we went to each other places at the same time..She messaged me at the same time I was about to message her..JINX!!HAHAHA..It was funny though...She went over to Mid Valley(aka near my hotel)..I went over to One Utama (aka Near her hotel)..Oh well..We left at the same time as well..GRRRRR..Thought we could meet up and eat turkey..HAHHAHA

Last day-Shopping at Mid Valley..Bought 3 shirts at Body Glove..And 1 shirt at MNG..Another at E-sprit..My flight got delayed..And I saw Ranoadidas..U were spotted!!HAHHAHA

So how much did I spent *counting*counting*..More than 1k..:(..But I guessed it's worth it..Tsk Tsk..

Finally I am back!!HEHE..Miss my comfy bed..My hair was rusty coz of the shower water..Oh well~~

My trip was fantastic!:D:D..SHOPPING!!HAHA..Thats to summarise the whole trip plus EATING!!Savouring nice yummy food..And the end result-WEIGHT GAIN! The good thing is I was staying at Cititel Mid Valley..Just walked out of the lobby and I am at the Mall...NICE~

Yeap on hiatus till Friday/Saturday..Will be in KL..Love the outing we had yesterday at the mall..Peepos were Effie, Sharleen, Maureen, Samantha, Fran, Chee Rong and Jessica..So yeah..For pics ask from Maureen..She has most of them..HEHEHEH

15.12.08- My sis's birthday..Happy Birthday J!!:P..Yeap everyone in the family agreed that she looks like me..Some what like a long lost twin..HAHA..That day I met my uncle, auntie and my cousins at the airport before they left for Hong Kong..Drove all the way up from Miri..Which took them only 1 hour to arrive..Yes Q, how fast did you drive?*tsk*tsk*

16.12.08- Nothing much happened. Just that my wardrobe has finally arrived!:D...

17.12.08- Boring day..Went to Yayasan with my parents..My dad helped me fix my teeth..huhu..

18.12.08- Went to the National Dental Centre..My retainers appointment..Just a 5 minute visit..The first quickie visit ever..There goes my 1 buck..$0.20 per minute..Untung or rugi?Hmmm~

Our 4th month anniversary..HAHA..kinda low key..Went to Coffee Zone to have the happy hour meal..The mee Nick ordered was nice..:D..I had the coffee zone cheesecake..It was ok..Fleur De Lys mango cheesecake is the yummiest though..

After that, we went for shopping at Supasave Gadong..Bought Swepps Lemonade and Kleenex tissue..HAHA..Havent been there for a long long time..Still remember the BBQ chicken they roasted and we used to buy them for dinner..2 for $10.80..Anyone?:D

Well not a nice movie actually..Not gonna comment much about it..Not a movie that I will watch for the second time though..

Anyways..Nice hangout last night we had at Red Chilli..Had steamboat and BBQ..It was Alvin's treat..So sweet of him..:)..

In a week's time I am going to KL..:)..Cant really remember when was the last time I been there..Was it 2005 or 2006? But this time I bet it's gonna be different..Staying at Cititel and its just above Mid valley..:D:D:D..Cool huh?

Exams are O-V-E-R!

Yes its OVER! Holidays here I come!!Was too tired to blog after I came home from the University of Aberdeen talk..Straightaway hit the sack..Yes I was that tired..I love and hate my geology paper at the same time..Only my peers know about this plus Nick..haha..IM me if you guys wanna know the details..:p..

A 3 hour paper and I finished it in 45 minutes..Haha..Hopefully I got everything right..Sigh~~I saw Khairi fell asleep after just an hour doing the paper..I was looking around doing nothing..Seeing people struggling to finish up their papers..Siddiq told me that he thought the paper was 2 hours..He didnt finished the paper and handed it in when the invigilator said "time is up"..my god~~~He said he didnt know how to do also..Hmmmm...

So I was basically wasting my time for an hour and a half..Left the hall at 11.20am..Khairi and Siddiq were the first to leave..Followed by Satry and myself..Haha..Went to Giant to have lunch and discussed about the paper..Yes a boring entry it is..Till then..HEHE..

Another weekend~

Well been lazy-in around these past few days..Tired..So many excuses..Sigh..One more paper in 6 DAYS! And someone is finishing his paper tomorrow..Bring me out kai kai!..*HINT HINT*

Geology..At first I thought it was a tough subject..So last night I was browsing through my geology notes while talking to Nick over the phone..It reminded him about O-level Geography..Well partly true..We still learn about igneous, metamorphic and sedimentary rocks...And we are dubbed as the "rocks people"..YOU GUYS KNOW WHO YOU ARE!..heheh..

Need to learn about the properties of minerals..i.e. for quarts we know it has a hardness of 7 on the Mohr scale..LALALALALA..I dont wanna bore my readers..

Still have geology paper to sit for next saturday..Farhanah and Sharifa have finished their exams today together with Acai and Safwan..So lucky of them..And that marks the end of thir first semester at UBD..So far, exams are just okok..Not saying it's too hard and easy either..In between..:D..

Hey folks..Well..Not gonna update that often as exams are coming up..Tomorrow there will be chem and maths tests..SIGH~~Why are there so many tests when we are already at Uni?..:( People always say Uni is so much easier than secondary school..In some ways yes and in alot of ways NO..

Geology lab work

Well..Our assignment is to look through 30 ish thin sections of rock minerals..To be honest with you guys..The first 3 weeks were "honeymoon" weeks..None of us were enthusiastic about it..Until the very last minute when we are supposed to hand in next week, people are trying to finish up the thin sections..I am done..Just that I have to go to the lab for one last time to check on them again..40% coursework alone people!!sigh~~

It was boring in the beginning..Until I was nearly done that I realised it's interesting after all..HEHE..Here's a glimpse of what you guys will see under the microscope..

Thanks Far for giving me ideas!!haha..About locking my car keys in the car..Well it's always when Fiyyah and Fiizah were around and they called me out for outings..The first was I went to Mamih instead of Sri Mamak..So yea I got down the car forgetting about my keys..So I was waiting for the rest..Luckily I didnt leave my phone in the car..So SCREWED!!..Luckily Dae msged me and asked where I was..If it wasnt for the msg, I would be like a lost wombat in Brunei..HEHE..

The second time was at UBD..That night there was Doa Selamat gathering at Fiyyah's and Fiizah's place too..So yeap my keys were locked in the car again..SIGH!!!Far thought I was kidding when I said I didnt hav the keys..Skali apa jua..The keys were just a metre away from me in the car..It's not funny though but I laughed!!What the heck right?hahahahaha..So mummy came to the rescue with the spare key..HUHU..Thanks Far for accompanying me..If not I think I would be bored to death..HEHE

So about Maths lecture..Just now was boring..And sleepy.."Everyone in Gadong can do this", "You can do this in your sleep"..I bet I can!!!HAHAHA..If I were to do Maths in my sleep, I dont have any problems in doing Maths right?..Then why bother attending lectures..Hmmm.....Oh well~~Oh and another thing..Quite a number of people aced in the previous quiz..He said it was not a good thing..I thought the lecturer should be proud about that? Maybe he enjoys seeing us failing and crying out loud for help? Who knows?????

Yesterday and today~

My sunday morning..WAS TERRIBLE!!!..Woke up early..Like 7am..Havent gotten out of my bed that early for sundays since I last went marketing with mummy..oh well..The worst part was when I reached UBD at 8..I thought one of my coursemates took the key to the door..It turned out that he put it back into the cabinet..SO FRUSTRATED!!!huhu..Ruined my morning sleep..Rushing to UBD..I nearly went gaga..huhuhu..Should have listened to Nick that I shouldn't have gone to uni..HAIZ..Kek tio~

Well today..Ok though..Practical went well..Then went out for lunch with Nick..HAHA..I am proned to misplacing my things..Like my wallet, pencil case, calculator, watch, money, etc..Like what Nick said I will lose my kids too next time..I think next time old grannies will smack me on the head if that were to happen..oh well..Scare myself over something I misplaced..HUHU..partly my fault too..Actually ENTIRELY!!!HAHA..It goes hand in hand dont you think so?Yea serve me right..huhuhu

Our 3 months anniversary

HAHA..Special thanks to that special someone aka Nicholas Chong Yee Jin..For posting up some nice footage of us together..HEHE..Oh and today something funny happened..Never knew MR sir to be Nick came to my class just to claim his prize..SHOCKING!!!I thought he was joking..HOHO..Sharifa was asking me, "How come Nick looked lost?"..I was kinda blur about what was she talking about..And when I turned around I was shocked!!HAHAH..Oh well..Everyone was looking you know, Nick..He's smiling widely now..*evil grin*

Words cant how much you meant to me and you do know that..These three months have been great..Been through lots of ups and downs..At the end of the day, we know we want the very best for both of us..Happy 3 months anniversary dear..XOXO..:D

Well the day started off pretty ok..Reached uni on time..Geology practical which lasted for 4 hours followed by Maths lecture..Pretty much a boring day..

Anyways..I think most of my good buddies know that I am a worrier..Worry about work, assignments, tests, family, friends, etc..I remembered my friends once told me that if I worry too much, I will grow old pretty fast..AGEING!!!!ARGHHH!!!!At a very young age I worry like hell..Like for example, I still remember the time when there was a Maths quiz..I think I was in primary 3 back then..I got 99%..I cried like hell!!I should be happy instead right??But I was expeting a full 100% mark!..How ironic was that??!!My mum even got to the point of slapping me cause I was whining about my grade..Oh well..Those were the days..

Like the part when I thought I lost my maths notes..I was whining too..And today I called Nick up and disturbed his sleeping session..HAHA..Sorry dear..I thought I forgot to return my books on time..I was worried about fines..SIGH!!Yeap was told by Nick that I worried alot..As in ALOT!!:(..

It started off..BAD!!Coz I thought I lost my maths notes..The whole semester notes..Nearly burst out crying..Farhanah and Sharifa knew about my situation..Thank you guys!!You are my besties!!:D

Thanks to Nick for being there for me eventhough he was busy..and Khairi also for accompanying me to find my notes at the English room and asked for signatures for my blue form..FINALLY COMPLETED!!MUAHAHAHAHA..

Went out for dinner..still was feeling down coz of my crappy notes..HAHA..I found my notes at last!!Apparently my mum knows where it was..Coz she packed my books last minute as the workers had to fix a leaking roof and the toilet..SO YES FINALLY!!!!!!Nightmares vanished instantly..

Tomorrow is gonna be presentation day..WISH ME LUCK!!:D

More and more tests and assignments coming up..Lab report assignment to be handed in on Saturday and there's a maths test too on that day..

Next week..Geology practical descriptions on Igneous and Metamorphic rocks, English presentation on "Why be cheapskates and buy cheap shades?" and Chemistry assignment to be done..ARGHHHH!!!Hectic I know...HUHU..But so far I am not worried..Last minute worker..It has always been that way..EHEHEHEHE..

So about my presentation on why be cheapskates and buy cheap shades..Well not saying that if you buy cheap shades your eyes will go boink!Hmm..more like the quality of the sunglasses..Not as good as the branded ones of course..Just that you will be faced with glariness of upcoming vehicles and dizziness while driving on the road..Dangerous aint it..It has been proven that there accidents involved which are due to the sunglasses that drivers wear..SCARY EY???

Monday and Tuesday blues~

Monday, October 20th, 2008..The day started off with Chemistry practical..The practical went perfect from 8am till 10.30..Until the part when Siddiq accidently spilled hot chemicals on the bench (actually he was supposed to pour the solution into the chemical flask for filtration)..After that accident, we lost some yield..Oh well~..I burnt my thumb too..huhu..We repeated the same step 3 times..The second being we forgot to cool the crystals before filtration..As a result, Dr Tan was like "How come no crystals form?"..She sounded so angry..She discarded the buchner funnel and recrystallised our solid (hope there are no impurities in it :()..So yea..The third being Siddiq wanna do the step again and Dr Tan was like "DONT DO IT AGAIN!WASTING CHEMICALS AND TIME!"..huhu..Bad start..

So after the practical I was soaking my thumb in a bag of ice for nearly 30 minutes..super stingy feeling..Sigh..Be careful peeps when dealing with hot chemicals..

Tuesday, October 21st, 2008..Chemistry assignment..Haha..So many people didnt know how to do questions 1 and 2..So yea..Luckily Sharifa was of big help..:D..Thanks Shar..Oh and then during Maths lecture..Nearly fell asleep..HEHEHE..Chem lecture was okay..Just that this guy annoyed me..SIGH~~Only some people knew about this..haiz....

Finally..Bball tourny for the girls is over..So exhausted..Played nearly full time yesterday..Oh well..Disappointed my teammates as I didnt score any points..(or mayb I did) I dont know la..hahah..

Tiring day~

Well let me tell you this folks..Squash can really tire you up..Sleeping alone proves it!HAHA..I nearly missed first part of Geology practical..Slept before 10.00pm yesterday and woke up at 7.40am when the practical starts at 8.00am..Is no joke!huhu..Eventhough I had enough hours of sleep (I thought I had)..I felt very exhausted..Haha..But no doubt about it..Still can concentrate in class..After class..went to eat La Mee at Hua Ho Manggis Mall..And yes slept straight after I got back home for a few hours..No regrets though..But seriously really exhausting!

Luckily Dr El-Ghali was running late too this morning..There was a massive traffic jam along the highway..So yea..*phew*He is really understanding and helpful too during practicals..Oh and 4 hours of geology practical..You think it is nuts..Wait until you have practicals for 8 hours straight..It may sound mindblowing..but seriously..8 hours is a short period of time..Its not easy examining rocks with the naked eye..yet alone with microscopes..The same type of rocks may be of different colours and different textures..It's such a pain in the ass..ARGHHHHHH!! Oh well..Nothing in life is always smooth sailing..There are always ups and downs..Do I sound like I am preaching here?HEHEH..

October 14th and 15th

So yes folks..sorry for the late update..been busy these past few days..HEHE..*alasan kali*..no idea..The thing is I cant find the time to blog..huhu..So SORRY!

Anyways..yesterday (October 14th) was my 2nd month anniversary with Nick..so what did we do? Watched butterfly lovers..HAHA..I think it's like a gay movie..coz at first the lady (Charlene Choi) was acting as a guy..So yea..But in the end he (aka Wu Chun) found out that she's a lady..The ending was crappy..Overall rating of the movie? I give it 7/10..The story line is about the same like the drama series that Wu Chun acted in Hana Kimi..Oh well~

So should I go to Empire tomorrow to meet Wu Chun and Charlene? I have passes though..But haha..NO IDEA!..

So today October 15th..went to Jing Chew to eat See ma kway teow..I missed it lots..Able to taste it after a long time..The feeling was overwhelming..HEHEHE..Thanks Siddiq and Khairi for accompanying me..:D..Then in the afternoon played squash with Siddiq, Safwan, Acai and Chan..from 1 ish till 4 ish..FOR THE FIRST TIME I PLAYED THAT LONG!!!Of course have breaks in between..:P..

So yes..Tests are over momentarily..very sasak..terrible..high fever the whole week..nearly went crazy cause what I tried to memorise didnt actually get into my head..Sleepless nights..Puking sessions..Basketball was a nightmare for me yesterday..Puke after the match..How ironic was that?:(..Luckily played for awhile..If not I guarantee k.o ler..Mummy faster come back..I NEED YOU!!!:(:(:(..Thanks to my friends and Nick who sent in get well soon wishes..Appreciate them lots..And Nick dear..Dont worry so much about me..Am fine~:)

Today?TERRIBLE! Woke up at 4am..Cant sleep at all..sigh..And the workers knocked down my present bedroom wall without warning..HAIZZ..Slept for an hour before they knocked down the wall..And guessed what..Took me just 5 minutes to move out everything from my room..Hectic I was..HUHU..Look on the bright side, my new room is gonna be ready in no time..:D:D..

Yesterday was a tiring trip to KB. A long queue going down and a long queue coming up to Bandar. Exhausting indeed~~

It was fun though..Met my aunt, cousins, nephew and nieces..It has been awhile that I havent seen them..Spent quite sometime there..

My aunt is a very good cook..It's in the genes I supposed..Like my granma..She was a very good cook..Sadly didnt get to taste any of those delicious meals...

My semester break..Haha..There are so many ups and downs..But now everything is going well..

Went to have my favourite homemade beancurd dish at teo phoi hoon for breakfast..and nick has been craving for laksa since yesterday..his wish has been granted..LOL..Nick has good taste in food..So if you guys wanna know any tasty corner whereabouts, ask the "PRO" *points finger*..heheheh..:D

Yes readers..What was I doing up so early??Can't sleep well i supposed..Slept for barely 5 hours..Argh..Haha..Good thing that Jay Chou's soothing song "nu er hong" (correct me if i am wrong) kept me company..Very nice track..Get the album or download it peeps..Not the best among all of his albums..But hey its JAY CHOU!!hahah..

Haha..m feeling drowsy now..Wanna hit the sack again..Oh n Selamat Hari Raya to my friends in UK..Maaf Zahir dan Batin..Miss those Raya convoy sessions..:(..Anyways hoped this year's Raya is better than last year's..*Can't wait*

Just wanna let you guys know what a week it was this week..

• Monday-Chemistry practical..Basically we didnt do any practical..More like talking practical..HAHA..Nadia, Kery and I talked till I fell off my chair..*BLUSH*..
  
• Tuesday-Chemistry test..No comments about that..Met up with Nick at Giant..Apparently so many cars were there at about 5 ish..There werent many people at Giant though..*weird*
  
• Wednesday-Nick's birthday..Went to Fratini's for lunch and yes I was busted for 30 seconds..DAMN!..You are getting better Nick..HAHA..The food was disastrous..Not the usual Al-funghi we used to have..Disappointing..Dinner was at i-lotus..Food was fantastic..There were BUTS..Not gonna elaborate more on that..And yes my dear..HAPPY BELATED BIRTHDAY! Me still 19 lerrr..mai jealous..:p

• Thursday-Geology practical..Man it seemed ages that I was in the lab..No idea why..But then we didnt manage to finish up our work..Sigh..And we were late for maths lecture..HUHU..Went to Escapade Serusop with Nick for dinner..Very nice food..Cool atmosphere..*Impressive*


• Friday-Hip Hop dance class..it was A-W-E-S-O-M-E..Just that my thighs went numb..Haha..Exhausting but fun..Went to the airport straightafter to send off Fiyyah and Fiizah..Gonna miss ya guys lots! Thanks Nick for being there with me..Without you I think I would lost my way..HAHA..*Huggies*


• Saturday-Nothing interesting..Ahh we watched How I met your mother in geology lab..HEHE..Very funny..And played squash with Nick..Super exhausted..After 10 mins of playing, we felt so pathetic..Sweating and panting..Haha..That shows that we don't exercise very often..very bad indeed..


• Sunday-Went to coffee bean to meet up with Nick..So what did we do? Surfed the internet instead of doing our work..BAD i know..Went over to Fratinis to have lunch..Nice food was served today..:D..And it's Azian's day too! Hope you have fun babe~

Any latest news? Well nothing much..Just that I enrolled to Hip hop dance class, Nick's birthday took place a few days ago (hehe..somebody is getting older..:p), played squash..To sum up..my thighs now hurt..huhu..

About Uni? Well have assignments to hand in..Semester break just started..Have 2 written tests coming up after the break..stress~stress~stress..

Can't think much tonight..No idea why..Will post a better post next time..:)
